Band Name: The name Friend Village conveys our aspiration for the world to live as a supportive community of friends.
Inception: Friend Village grew from the belief in the power of music to move people: awakening emotions and revealing truths.
Musical Content: The content was chosen to foster questions to help people determine what truly brings them peace and contentment. It aims to highlight the strength of human connection to nurture the beauty of togetherness, as opposed to the pursuit of external possessions that ultimately weaken and isolate us.
This 3-year project arose from the idea that in a world increasingly out of balance, it’s not “they" who are the problem. It is "we" who must become the change we seek. Our group name, Friend Village, embodies the idea that self-reflection, taking responsibility, and nurturing human connection pave the way to both individual and societal harmony.
